We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agronomist to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our agronomy business, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical advice to our clients, promoting a wide range of well-respected products, and delivering a total solution for our mixed farming client base.
About the Role:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Work closely with our sales team to promote and sell our products, ensuring excellent customer service and support.
- Conduct site visits and provide technical advice to our clients, ensuring they are aware of the latest industry developments and best practices.
- Collaborate with our research and development team to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations.
- Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and revenue.
Requirements:
- Strong practical background in agronomy, with a deep understanding of mixed farming systems.
- Relevant degree in a related field, such as agriculture, horticulture, or a related science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel extensively throughout Scotland.
