Lead Scientific and Medical Expertise

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Scientific Director to join our team at Publicis Groupe UK. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the scientific and medical capability of our advertising team, ensuring the highest level of scientific rigor and expertise across all our client projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the scientific aspects of complex, high-profile accounts, inspiring the team to value scientific rigor across the business.
  • Develop and maintain a best-in-industry scientific/medical capability for the advertising team.
  • Provide effective leadership and scientific knowledge to the medical copywriting team.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration to ensure a cohesive approach to client projects.
  • Construct and communicate strategically aligned scientific narratives to aid in the development of award-winning creative.
  • Provide critical review of creative and associated materials.
  • Lead scientific pitch research and presentation up to Publicis Groupe level.
  • Offer active counsel and recommendations to clients on medical review of creative work and brand/account plans.
Requirements:
  • Established scientific and creative leader with extensive heritage in medical communications and advertising.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage scientific knowledge into creative execution.
  • Innovation in problem-solving and aptitude at mastering knowledge of therapeutic areas.
  • Confident production of strategically aligned, compelling scientific narratives.
  • Influential networks and relationships through skills, both internally and externally.
