Job Title: Functional Assessor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing the functional abilities of individuals with various health conditions and disabilities.

About the Role:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
  • Manage caseloads from end to end, including face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with claimants, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary ranging from £38,500 to £41,500, plus a 5% retention bonus and an opportunity to increase it to a 10% quality and retention bonus.
  • Hybrid work arrangements, allowing for a balance between remote and office work.
  • 12 weeks of comprehensive training, providing you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.
  • A range of benefits, including 25 days of holiday per annum, rising to 27 days with service, and access to a Health and Wellbeing programme.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Nurse or Mental Health Nurse with a valid registration on the NMC without restrictions.
  • At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
