Job Title: Functional Assessor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Functional Assessor to join our team at Reactive Recruitment. As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of individuals with various health conditions and disabilities, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual assessments to gather comprehensive information about claimants' health conditions and disabilities.
  • Review medical records and conduct thorough assessments to determine the impact of health conditions on daily life.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed reports of assessments, including recommendations for support and services.
  • Communicate effectively with claimants, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth assessment process.
Requirements:
  • Valid registration as a Nurse or Mental Health Nurse with the NMC.
  • At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Strong IT literacy and ability to use electronic systems and software.
