Aftersales Operations Manager

JOB PURPOSE
The Aftersales Operations Manager is responsible for:
• Assisting the Aftersales Manager in meeting parts and service targets while driving profitability by inspiring and developing the aftersales team to achieve full competency in their roles.
• Aiding in the management of sourcing and supply of manufacturer vehicle components and overseeing all service operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Upholding performance standards of the parts and service teams through effective coaching and performance evaluation.
• Recruiting and selecting team members in accordance with organizational standards.
• Ensuring high levels of customer service and adherence to customer satisfaction metrics within the organization.
• Guaranteeing adequate resources are available to fulfill service demands and regularly assessing key operational controls (labour efficiency, sales, cost of sales).
• Ensuring efficient stock management and warehouse operations by routinely reviewing key performance indicators (negative stock reports, PDR's, margin and volume performance) in alignment with manufacturer and business requirements.
• Maximizing business opportunities by developing and executing marketing campaigns tailored to specific market segments.
• Monitoring and assessing customer needs and competitor activities in the marketplace, ensuring marketing initiatives are relevant and targeted.
• Ensuring all service processes comply with brand standards and are consistently implemented.
• Regularly communicating and collaborating with other departments to foster business development and a cohesive team environment.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
