Position Overview

Financial Operations Manager at Ramsay Health Care

Ramsay Health Care is a leading provider of private hospital services, committed to delivering exceptional healthcare.

The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily financial and administrative activities of the hospital, ensuring accurate management information and comprehensive reports on various financial matters. Actively participate as a vital member of the Hospital Senior Leadership Team. Generate monthly management accounts, financial statements, and other essential reports in accordance with company policies. Prepare and scrutinize the monthly financial package, ensuring all discrepancies are thoroughly investigated and rectified. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to enhance labor cost efficiency and optimize resource allocation. Provide overall leadership for the Finance, Business Office, and Bookings departments. Guide teams to effectively manage high volumes of operations, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved while maintaining safe patient pathways. Assist in the management of NHS contracts. Work alongside business leaders to evaluate the effectiveness of operational processes and the ongoing profitability of clinical services. Engage in regional initiatives aimed at improving efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CMA). Strong business insight with the ability to analyze, interpret, and leverage data to enhance organizational performance and identify growth opportunities. Commitment to honesty, integrity, and ethical practices. Excellent communication abilities. Dedication to achieving internal and external objectives and meeting customer expectations. Capability to take charge and guide others towards achieving goals, effectively influencing and engaging stakeholders.
