Deputy Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in assisting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Home Manager in managing the care home, ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Oversee the care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent care to our residents.
  • Assume full management responsibility in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external care professionals, families, and visitors.
Requirements:
  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
  • Ability to promote ownership of care programs and involve service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care plans.
