Senior Mental Health Nurse Opportunity

Cygnet Sedgley Lodge & House, a leading provider of mental health services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse to join their team on a fixed-term contract until April 2025.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and support workers in providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the care of patients, ensuring that their needs are met and their care plans are implemented effectively.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members, promoting their professional development and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and evidence-based care.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
