Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess electrical system designs and equipment specifications.
  • Develop the Project Design Basis Document in alignment with project requirements.
  • Compile comprehensive project load lists.
  • Create technical reports and specifications for electrical components.
  • Support electrical engineering activities during the Front-End Engineering Development (FEED) phase.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to define the Electrical Engineering scope.
  • Analyze major equipment selections in design packages.
  • Address technical and site inquiries effectively.
  • Ensure project execution adheres to industry standards.
  • Monitor contractor performance and work quality in coordination with project management teams.
  • Verify that contractor designs comply with client standards and regulations.
  • Assist in evaluating Material Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations.
  • Review Change Orders for compliance with project budgets.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to uphold facility integrity regarding health, safety, and environment (HSE).
  • Provide technical assurance for electrical discipline deliverables.
  • Propose enhancements for installations or modifications to existing facilities.
  • Possess strong knowledge of Power System Automation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Certification as a professional engineer is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in electrical design, engineering, and construction.
  • Familiarity with NEC, IEEE/ANSI, IEC, and other international electrical standards.
  • Proficient in analogue and digital control systems, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
  • Strong command of the English language for technical analysis and presentations.
  • Significant experience in a senior engineering role.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) or similar software, along with Microsoft Office.
