Financial Transaction Coordinator

Watsham Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team in Haywards Heath. As a key member of the finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase invoices and making timely payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple currencies and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entering supplier invoices and ensuring accurate three-way matching with purchase orders and goods received notes
- Dealing with multicurrency invoices and payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Preparing and approving payment runs, ensuring timely payment to suppliers and subcontractors
- Reconciling multiple bank accounts and supplier statements
- Setting up new suppliers and subcontractors on the COINS system
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a Purchase Ledger role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Local and able to attend the office 5 days a week
