Job Title: Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with established schedules and protocols, with a focus on safety-critical operations.
  • Identify and rectify faults in site equipment efficiently.
  • Perform comprehensive services, overhauls, and maintenance on various equipment.
  • Engage in Root Cause Analysis to improve equipment reliability.
  • Maintain thorough work documentation and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Contribute to team performance by sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Assist in multi-skilled roles as necessary.
  • Foster productive relationships and minimize conflicts.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Participate in safety and environmental initiatives and strategies.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any incidents in a timely manner.
  • Engage in emergency response duties as required.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong foundation in electrical discipline.
  • Current CompEx Units and CPR Training.
  • Understanding of Electrical Safety Regulations and Control of Work Training.
  • Training in ISSOW and AGT level 3.
  • Experience in a comparable offshore position.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software such as Maximo.
  • Competence in computer applications.
