About the Role:

Sainsbury's is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Customer and Trading Manager. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our small format supermarkets, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff performance, time management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to achieve business objectives, provide coaching and development opportunities, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and other senior leaders to plan and execute business initiatives, including shift patterns, product availability, and busy times.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, including sales data, customer feedback, and team performance metrics.
