About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Team Member to join our dynamic team at Home Bargains. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with stock replenishment, maintaining a high level of store standards and ensuring products are available and presented in a visually appealing way.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Process cash transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, ensuring store displays are attractive and appealing to customers.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate, ranging from £9.00 to £11.88 per hour, depending on age and experience.
  • A 20-hour contract, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year, rising to 6.6 weeks after 5 years' service.

Requirements
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Experience of cash handling and working in a retail environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Physical ability to lift and move stock, as required.
