Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Community Nursing Sister/Qualified District Nurse to join our integrated Primary Care Hub in South Bedfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services and supporting the development of our staff.

Main Duties

As a Community Nursing Sister/Qualified District Nurse, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, which will be aligned to the residential homes within the area. You will also be required to support, coach, and develop individuals to deliver consistently high-quality services. Excellent communication and time management skills, and sound clinical knowledge, are essential.

Person Specification
  • Registered General Nurse
  • Demonstrate evidence-based practice and up-to-date clinical skills
  • Evidence of significant post-registration nursing experience, including community setting
  • Post-registration qualification in a relevant clinical field
  • Relevant teaching/mentorship qualification and evidence of teaching skills
  • Post-registration nursing experience, including community experience
Desirable Criteria
  • Specialist Practitioner Qualification
  • Nurse Prescriber
Other Essential Criteria
  • Current driving licence
  • Ability to travel across sites and across Bedfordshire to meet patient needs and attend meetings, etc
