About the Role:
Mars (New) is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Insights Director to lead our Central Insights team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven decision making and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Central Insights Team: Oversee a team of four associates, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of insights that shape our business strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and Implement Insights Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement insights strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
- Build and Maintain Strategic Partnerships: Foster connections with regional teams and external partners to enable the global insights agenda and drive business outcomes.
- Establish and Track Key Performance Indicators: Develop and track metrics to measure the success and impact of the insights team, utilizing data to drive decision making and improve insights processes and outcomes.
- Coach and Develop Team Members: Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to achieve overall goals.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Preferred: MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience: 10+ years in market research, insights, or consulting with significant leadership experience.
- Skills: Proven success in leading and managing teams, with a strong track record of building and nurturing talent and fostering a collaborative work environment. Demonstrated ability to pilot and scale new approaches, tools, and methodologies across teams.
