Key Responsibilities:

As a Sewer Operations Technician, you will play a crucial role in preserving the environment and public health while maintaining essential infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing network issues such as blockages, odors, and flooding.
  • Delivering high-quality service to customers while complying with environmental regulations.
  • Participating in an on-call roster for out-of-hours emergencies.
  • Upholding health and safety standards in all operational aspects.

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment and specialized CCTV tools to identify and promote necessary repairs within our sewer network.
  • Taking initiative to investigate and resolve sewer-related issues reported by customers.
  • Responding to incidents and performing scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Accurately documenting all site feedback using our IT systems.
  • Working independently while interacting with both internal and external customers daily.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Basic IT proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • A valid driving license; a 4.5-tonne license is advantageous (training provided if necessary).

In this role, you must be capable of working in confined spaces and at heights. Due to safety regulations, your weight must not exceed 113 kilograms, and you will be required to complete relevant health assessments.
