Key Responsibilities:
As a Sewer Operations Technician in our Water Recycling Services, you will play a critical role in protecting the environment and public health while maintaining essential infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include addressing issues within our network such as blockages, odors, flooding, and other incidents. You will be expected to deliver high service levels to our customers while complying with environmental regulations.
You will also participate in our standby roster, prepared to handle additional out-of-hours work to ensure continuous service delivery. Safety is paramount, and you will be required to strictly adhere to health and safety protocols.

Your Duties Will Include:
- Operating a high-pressure water jetting unit and specific CCTV equipment to identify and promote necessary repairs within our sewerage network.
- Taking responsibility for investigating and providing first-time resolutions for sewerage issues reported by customers.
- Responding to incidents and completing scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Accurately documenting and recording all site feedback through our IT systems.
- Primarily working independently while engaging with both internal and external customers daily.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience or willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic IT proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Full driving license; a 4.5-tonne license is advantageous (training will be provided if necessary).
In this role, you must be capable of working in confined spaces and at heights without restrictions. Due to harness weight limits, your maximum weight cannot exceed 113 kilograms, and you will be required to complete relevant occupational health assessments.
