Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Water Recycling Operations Manager to join our team at Forces Families Jobs. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of sludge from wastewater treatment plants to designated disposal, recycling, or treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective logistics plans to ensure timely and safe transportation of sludge
- Collaborate with the WROL Planning Manager to monitor vehicle and driver performance
- Ensure compliance with the Operator's License and regulatory requirements
- Lead a team of operational staff to ensure seamless execution of operations
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive compliance and improve processes
- Transport Managers CPC - UK Road Haulage Operations (National)
- Significant experience in UK Road transport operations with senior scheduling and controlling experience
- Experience in tanker operations, sewage sludge and/or biosolids collection and haulage operations, and/or sewer jetting operations
- Proficient IT skills, including MS Word and MS Excel
- Proven leadership skills, with ability to demonstrate, challenge, and question performance results
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and actively seek creative solutions
- Health and Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH)
- Full driving license
