Operations Manager

Reed is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Basildon offices and warehouses. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for championing comprehensive transportation and 3PL logistics services, including air, ocean, and road transport, as well as warehousing and value-added services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a high-performing branch facility.
- Implement strategic and operational plans to meet objectives and goals.
- Train, measure, and manage employees in company operational processes and standards.
- Negotiate and monitor supplier contracts.
- Oversee recruitment, including interviewing, hiring, and monitoring staffing levels.
- Proven track record in leading/managing operations teams.
- Strong leadership, financial analysis, negotiation, and customer satisfaction skills.
- Knowledge & experience in the following transport modes: Ocean and Road (Air not essential but preferred).
- Experience in 3PL and warehousing activities.
