Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance our development and deployment processes. As a critical member of our team, you will design, implement, and manage our AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Deploy AWS Infrastructure: Develop and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Manage Kubernetes Clusters: Ensure smooth operation and scalability of Kubernetes clusters and orchestration.
  • Develop and Maintain Docker Containers: Build and deploy Docker containers for efficient software delivery.
  • Build and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Streamline software delivery using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Create and Manage IAC Solutions: Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Write Automation Scripts: Develop Python scripts for automation and custom tools.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve system and application issues.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with development and operations teams for seamless deployments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven Experience: DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • AWS Expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS services and solutions.
  • Containerization Skills: Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization technologies.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Programming Skills: Solid programming skills, especially in Python.
  • IAC Tools: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • AWS Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Cloud Provider Experience: Experience with other cloud providers like Azure, GCP.
  • Programming Languages: Knowledge of other programming languages and scripting languages.
  • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, ELK Stack.
