Position Overview

At Home Instead West Lothian, we are eager to expand our team of Care Assistants, offering a range of hours and various contract options to suit your needs.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional home care services. Our Care Assistants, referred to as Care Professionals, provide essential support that enables our clients to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.

No prior experience or specific qualifications are necessary to join our team as a Care Professional. We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, including retail, hospitality, childcare, customer service, and delivery. Comprehensive training is provided from day one.

Responsibilities of a Care Professional:

  • Conducting minimum one-hour visits
  • Providing introductions to all new clients
  • Matching Care Professionals to clients based on personality, interests, and background
  • Delivering companionship-focused care
  • Assisting with shopping, household tasks, and meal preparation
  • Fostering strong professional relationships
  • Offering a variety of non-medical services to support client independence
