About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Support Worker to join our team at Making Space's Darlington Extra Care service, Rosemary Court. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults to live independently in their own apartments, promoting their well-being and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to service users, assisting with daily living tasks, medication management, and accessing community resources.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a seamless and effective service delivery, responding to changing needs and priorities.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

While prior experience in care or support work is not essential, you will have a passion for working with adults and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
