Thalia Waste Management is seeking a highly skilled Lead Asset Management Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in diagnosing and rectifying mechanical failures, performing Planned and Reactive Maintenance, and executing mechanical works as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define discipline activities, deliverables, and schedules in line with contract requirements.
  • Identify and manage engineering scope changes and control processes.
  • Verify effectiveness of working instruments, project execution, and job progress.
  • Monitor and report progress, including control of man-hours and delivered documents.
  • Coordinate and verify design changes and their implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement engineering procedures, instructions, RAMS, and guidance documents.
  • Support scheduled and unscheduled outage activities to ensure mechanical works are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Complete accurate maintenance reporting within the CMMS.
  • Collect data and produce reports.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience and sound engineering judgment.
  • Proven track record of delivering technically challenging projects.
  • Ability to produce and review high-quality technical reports.
