About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Engineering Asset Manager BESS to join our team at Sungrow - EMEA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of battery storage assets, ensuring systems are meeting or exceeding operational expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor performance data and ensure systems are meeting or exceeding operational expectations.
  • Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for energy storage systems, ensuring minimal downtime and longevity of assets.
  • Operational Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of battery storage systems through technology upgrades, software optimization, and data-driven insights.
  • Data Analytics: Collect and analyze performance data from battery systems, leveraging insights to improve operational efficiency and extend asset life.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate with third-party service providers, OEMs, and maintenance teams to ensure timely interventions and repairs.
  • Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure that all operations are in compliance with local regulations, including safety, environmental, and electrical standards.
  • Budget & Financial Planning: Monitor operational expenses, prepare budgets for asset maintenance, and ensure cost-effective management of storage assets.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Contribute to sustainability targets by optimizing energy storage systems to improve their environmental impact.
  • Reporting: Provide regular performance reports to senior management and stakeholders, detailing asset performance, incidents, and improvement strategies.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the operations of storage systems, ensuring safe and reliable operations.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Asset Manager BESS to join our team. You will have a strong background in lithium-ion batteries, energy storage systems, and renewable energy technologies. Experience with energy monitoring platforms and optimizing energy storage for market participation is also essential.
