Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a supportive school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support to pupils with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Assist teachers in sourcing and creating resources to meet the needs of students.
  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to the development of individualized learning plans.
  • Support the needs of students within the classroom, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Prior experience working with children, with a focus on supporting those with SEN.
  • Knowledge of behavior management and the ability to apply it effectively.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with children and staff.
