Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the Role
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing, leading, coaching, and developing a small team of financial professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial appraisals, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Process and review forecasting input on a monthly basis, ensuring all numbers submitted are accurate, with a particular focus on volume, mix, and price
- Prepare, process, and analyze monthly local distribution costs (standard and variations), highlighting risks and opportunities
- Lead the annual budgeting process and be responsible for hitting all key deadlines
- Oversee and manage the company Business Intelligence reporting platform on Power BI for Finance-related reporting
- Produce monthly full Profit & Loss actual and Forecast reports for management, with commentary for all main business units
- Proactive variance analysis of actuals versus budget, forecast, and prior year to support business decisions
- Manage monthly actual/forecast meetings with non-finance & senior leadership
- Support in developing new KPIs with business unit management teams
Requirements
- Qualified or Newly Qualified, although Finalists will be considered
- 5 years minimum commercial finance experience
- Advanced Excel
- Proven business partner
