Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and responsible Cover Supervisor to provide general cover, classroom supervision, and student support at a secondary school in Middlesbrough and surrounding areas.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 8:15am-3:15pm during school term times.
About the SchoolA well-established mainstream secondary school within the Middlesbrough area is currently looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Cover Supervisor to supervise classes and provide learning support during short-term staff absences.
The right candidate will be someone who shares the same passion and values for education and is able to confidently step into lessons and continue teaching the existing schemes of work.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a productive and orderly learning environment for students ages 11-16 when their regular teacher is unavailable.
- Supervise whole classes across various subjects when teachers are absent and follow lesson plans left by teachers to facilitate activities and assist students.
- Support students in completing tasks and promoting positive behaviour in the classroom.
- Pay to scale policy.

- Must be 21 and over.
- Have experience in UK-based schools.
- Must drive due to location.
- You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one.
- Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 lessons across ability and subject ranges.
- Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
