About the Role

Connex Education is seeking a responsible and organised cover supervisor to provide general cover, classroom supervision and student support at a secondary school in the Darlington area. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 8:15am-3:15pm during school term times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a productive and orderly learning environment for students ages 11-16 when their regular teacher is unavailable.
  • Supervise whole classes across various subjects when teachers are absent and follow lesson plans left by teachers to facilitate activities and assist students.
  • Support students in completing tasks and promote positive behaviour in the classroom.
