About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Theatres department at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of procedures in our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain sterile equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Assist surgeons during operations, providing essential support and care to patients.
  • Participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement agreed standards of care.
  • Follow Codes of Professional Practice to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing treatment in the Pre-Operative Environment.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years.
