Senior Estimator Opportunity in the Water Industry

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator to join our client's Water South Business Unit in Exeter. As a key member of the bid team, you will utilize your construction knowledge and commercial insight to secure profitable projects in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk and value management, budget preparation, and cost planning
  • Collaboration with design and project teams
  • Preparation of material and subcontractor inquiries
  • Attending strategy meetings and site visits to identify risks
  • Comparing and adjudicating subcontractor quotations
  • Managing risk throughout the tender period
  • Presentation of tenders to senior management
Requirements:
  • Degree in Construction or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Extensive experience with analytical estimating, including projects up to £25m
  • Familiarity with various contract types
  • Experience using estimating software
  • Skilled in cost planning and risk management
