As a company, they operate in projects across Rail, Infrastructure, Build, and Heavy Civils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating contracts and projects during the pre-contract/tender stage for a range of multi-disciplinary rail and infrastructure projects.
  • Providing estimates and calculating costs of the projects.
  • Being responsible for any financial, technical, and contractual risks.
  • Fulfilling the contract by maximising gross profit.
  • Providing regular forecasts and reports to understand the progress of the project.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Estimator in a rail or civil engineering/infrastructure environment, including multi-disciplinary projects and/or frameworks.
  • Comfortable working from home with occasional travel to Cambridge for business or tender meetings.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Estimator to join a leading contractor in the rail and civil engineering sector.
