About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Wessex Children's Hospice Trust (Naomi House). As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the provision of high-quality care and support to children, young people, and their families.
  • Provide clinical leadership to staff, ensuring effective delivery of care and support.
  • Liaise with the Clinical Team Leaders/Care Managers and other Site Co-ordinators to ensure seamless services.
  • Support the Clinical Team Leader in the line management, development, and support of a team of nurses and carers.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with valid up-to-date registration with the NMC.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Relevant experience of caring for children/young people with highly complex care needs and disability.
  • Experience of holistic assessment and individualized planning of care.
  • Experience of effective collaborative working with professionals from other agencies and disciplines.
