Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable educational organization with a strong history of enhancing school performance.The Trust oversees 28 academies, comprising 15 secondary and 13 primary institutions across various regions in the North of England.
We are looking to recruit a highly driven and proficient operations manager to oversee all facets of business services at Essa Academy.
As a central figure within the academy, you will possess a business-oriented mindset while significantly contributing to the student experience, fulfilling responsibilities, and being an integral part of the senior leadership team.
Your role will encompass managing the entire administrative operations of the academy; reporting directly to the principal and collaborating with relevant corporate directors, you will be accountable for the academy's information systems and ICT management, risk and critical incident oversight, transactional human resource management including payroll, facilities and property management, as well as health and safety protocols within the academy.
Requirements include having 5 GCSEs, including English and mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent)- Possess, or be in the process of obtaining, a relevant qualification in academy business management, such as NASBM
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and training
- Exhibit experience in leading, managing, and evaluating a team of staff
- Have a background in managing academy administration, systems, and processes
- Show dedication to supporting the Trust's objectives for safeguarding, equality, and diversity, as well as the Trust's core values and ethos.
- Maintain a focus on outcomes and prioritize the needs of children
- The potential to apply for leadership positions within the Deeps structure, taking on a comprehensive school leadership project;
