We have a dedicated team of over 160 professionals based at our headquarters and various regional offices across the UK. The Event Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and management of the annual BSRIA Briefing event, ensuring alignment with the organization's standards and objectives.


This position entails overseeing the event budget, coordinating logistical arrangements, and collaborating closely with the Marketing team to effectively promote the event.


The Event Coordinator will also engage with external vendors, sponsors, and speakers, ensuring seamless operations on the day of the event. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the event budget and timeline, maintaining precise records of all financial transactions.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure comprehensive event promotion through appropriate channels, consistent messaging, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Establishing a stakeholder and working group for the event to keep all relevant personnel informed of progress and their respective roles.
  • Coordinating with talent agencies and speakers to manage event content, schedules, and promotional activities.
  • Reaching out to potential sponsors and partners, serving as the primary contact for all sponsorship agreements and sales efforts.
  • Generating innovative ideas for the event and its promotional campaign.
  • Ensuring the smooth execution of logistics and front-of-house operations on the event day.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and vendors regarding event requirements.
  • Analyzing campaign performance and providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Representing and supporting the organization at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborating with our PR agency to manage media exposure and journalist invitations.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador, promoting the organization's values and offerings.
  • Demonstrating the ability to plan and execute projects with multiple components.
  • Exhibiting creativity in developing both internal and external events.
  • Staying informed about event trends and developments.


Qualifications:

  • A degree in event management is desirable.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is essential.
