About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Advisor to join our team at Inside Avenue Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety Management
    • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular site audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
    • Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Quality Management
    • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
    • Conduct regular quality audits to identify and mitigate potential quality issues.
    • Implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence of quality issues.
  • Environmental Management
    • Develop and implement effective environmental management strategies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular environmental audits to identify and mitigate potential environmental hazards.
    • Implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence of environmental issues.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide training and development opportunities to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles safely and effectively.
    • Identify training gaps and develop training programs to address these gaps.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and clients to ensure that health, safety, quality, and environmental matters are understood and addressed.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that health, safety, quality, and environmental matters are integrated into all aspects of our operations.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard).
    • EUSR or CSCS in a related subject.
    • NRSWA (SWQR).
  • Experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in a health, safety, quality, and environmental role.
    • Experience in a utilities or construction industry would be an advantage.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
