Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse/ODP

About the Role

Ramsay Health Care Clinical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse/ODP to join our Theatre team. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and anaesthetists during complex orthopaedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Participate in the development and implementation of theatre protocols and procedures
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and respectful working environment

Requirements

  • HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
