Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner

About the Role

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatre team. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and medical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during orthopaedic procedures, including hip and knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Prepare and maintain the operating theatre environment, ensuring a safe and efficient working space
  • Collaborate with the theatre team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient procedure flow
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip and knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
