We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team in London. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and closing new business with small to medium-sized business customers.

In this hybrid role, you will work closely with our inbound lead generation teams, as well as prospect and generate outbound leads to help our prospective customers choose Hootsuite as their Social Media Management partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new small and medium-sized business customers to achieve individual quota targets.
  • Provide customer value from the prospecting stage to the completion of sale, preparing and organizing sales processes throughout the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Consult with internal stakeholders, manage, track, and report sales activities and results through Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and 6Sense.
  • Facilitate a smooth customer transition and onboarding following the close of the initial customer sale.

Requirements:

  • Relevant B2B sales experience, with lead generation/business development representative experience (software experience considered an asset).
  • Ability to focus on client business value, return on investment, and customer solutions.
  • Experience building and executing on assigned account/territory plans.
  • Fluency in German.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrates a desire to proactively help and serve internal/external customers meet their needs.
