Our client, a well-established food and beverage company, is seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to join their team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of their Wholesale Bakery business, focusing on the London HoReCa channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales growth plans to maximize sustainable sales and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including third-party suppliers, hotel groups, restaurant chains, and delis.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop wholesale assets and improve brand awareness.
  • Monitor market trends, including price movements and new product developments.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate internal reporting and tracking of sales performance.
  • Lead and develop the Wholesale Assistant to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of selling into the London HoReCa channel, with a strong network of contacts.
  • Experience working in a small premium food business, with bakery experience a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership qualities with self-motivation to create opportunities and deliver results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A structured approach with a clear view on hitting targets.
