Vallum Associates is collaborating with a prominent SaaS organization that specializes in delivering a cutting-edge cloud-based Customer Information System (CIS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution tailored for the Energy and Utilities industry. This platform is built on the robust Microsoft Dynamics 365 framework and is provided as a service within the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment. Our client operates across Europe, the UK, and North America, employing a workforce of over 450 professionals.
The Cloud Solutions Architect will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, documenting, and managing Azure cloud solutions that align with the strategic objectives of clients. This position requires a profound understanding of Azure cloud architecture, exceptional technical expertise, and the capability to convert intricate requirements into practical solutions.
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, the ideal candidate will also demonstrate outstanding communication abilities and be adept in client-facing situations, ensuring the delivery of superior service and nurturing robust client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud architectures utilizing Azure services to fulfill client specifications.
- Oversee the deployment of Azure solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Act as the primary technical liaison for clients, comprehending their needs and translating them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and enhance the performance of cloud solutions to meet required performance and availability standards.
- Ensure compliance of all cloud solutions with security policies and best practices.
- Create comprehensive documentation of solutions (including architecture, configuration, and setup) and deliver training to clients and internal teams.
- Assist in Business Development and Technical Pre-sales efforts.
Essential Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of experience as a technical or solutions architect, with a strong technical foundation in the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships, understand their business needs, and ensure satisfaction.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions.
- Experience with D365 business applications and/or Power Platform is advantageous.
- Relevant Azure certifications are highly desirable (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Hands-on individual capable of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
