Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Geography Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in Key Stages 3/4, ensuring that every student enjoys an excellent experience in your lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Geography to students in Key Stages 3/4, adapting your teaching to meet the needs of students across the ability range.
  • Work closely with the Director of Geography and the rest of the team to plan and deliver engaging and effective sequences of lessons.
  • Contribute to the development of the Geography department, sharing best practices and expertise with colleagues.

Requirements
  • Degree in Geography or a related subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Proven experience of teaching Geography in a secondary school setting.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
