Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in steering the Kier Rail team towards the successful delivery of our transportation projects, which aim to enhance connectivity in the region.

Daily Duties
  • Oversee the comprehensive direction, coordination, and implementation of project strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage financial aspects and drive revenue generation, negotiating with stakeholders to secure optimal value.
  • Promote a culture of safety across all project activities.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to foster strong relationships.
  • Support commercial teams in maximizing sustainable value from contracts and ensuring fair settlements with subcontractors based on performance.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant educational background – degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Proven Project Management expertise with a solid grasp of Target Cost contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience in a transportation-related project environment.
  • Thorough understanding of CDM regulations and health and safety standards.
