Salary: £80 - £90 per day

Job Type: Temporary or Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support to overcome emotional and social challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs
  • Assist teachers in creating and implementing tailored plans to promote desirable behaviors and skills
  • Develop healthy relationships with students and facilitate their social and emotional growth
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 3 qualification or a minimum of 6 months' experience in an educational establishment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and a caring approach when working with students
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Experience working with students in a 1:1 and small group setting
