About the Role:

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs. Your role will involve:

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to students

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in an educational setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and understanding when working with students with SEMH needs
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
