Your primary responsibilities will encompass the safe administration of chemotherapy medications, vigilant monitoring of patients for any adverse reactions, and providing emotional and psychological support throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Registered with the NMC as a Registered General Nurse.
  • At least 6 months of experience in oncology nursing within the past 2 years.
  • Completion of a specialist course in oncology nursing.
  • Certification in chemotherapy administration or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong clinical competencies and a solid foundation in evidence-based nursing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Dedication to providing patient-centered care.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or readiness to undergo a background check.
  • Completion of mandatory training relevant to the position.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: £25.00-£32.00 per hour

  • Availability for Day, Night, and Weekend shifts.

  • Do you possess 6 months of NHS experience as an Oncology Infusion Nurse?

Licenses/Certifications Required:

  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • NMC Pin.
