Role Overview:
The Mechanical Engineering Associate role is pivotal within our building services team. You will oversee the delivery of engineering design solutions, manage project execution, and ensure the effectiveness of your project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive building services across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, education, and more.
- Engage in all facets of building services engineering consultancy, reporting directly to the Engineering Director.
- Utilize your mechanical engineering background, complemented by knowledge in electrical engineering, public health, and sustainability.
- Manage technical and commercial aspects of projects, demonstrating a proven track record in successful delivery.
- Foster strong client relationships, ensuring projects align with client expectations and timelines.
- Oversee the quality of work, adhering to company policies and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to project bids and tender submissions, leveraging your expertise to enhance our competitive edge.
- Collaborate with project teams to advance sustainability initiatives and low carbon design solutions.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong project management capabilities, guiding projects from inception to completion.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and low carbon design.
- Proficiency in IES software for analyzing energy models and dynamic simulations.
- Experience with Revit and Navisworks software; familiarity with MagiCAD is advantageous.
