Main Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day operational shift coordination to the administrative team, supervising call handling, control room staff, and drivers to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Work closely with the GPC Leadership team and staff to implement systems and processes that meet local and national targets.
- Lead on initial stages of discipline, appraisals, and training for staff, reviewing work performance and progress.
- Ensure effective delivery of services by providing leadership, support, and guidance on operational issues to both clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Manage administrative staff capacity to meet service demands, working across 24-hour service needs on a rota basis.
- Line manage designated staff in line with HR processes and policies.

The Combined Community & Acute Group is one of the largest care groups in Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, spanning acute and community services. This provides opportunities for integrated working and professional development.
The GP Collaborative provides urgent Out of Hours primary care services for the city of Sheffield, including clinical triage, face-to-face clinical assessment, and home visits for the housebound and those at the end of life.
This vacancy is advertised on a fixed-term contract basis due to maternity leave of the substantive post holder. The fixed-term contract status will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed-term contracts and statutory maternity provisions.
