Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operational Shift Coordinator to join our team at the Sheffield GP Collaborative Centre. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational shift coordination, supervising call handling teams, and ensuring the effective delivery of services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational plans to deliver efficient, effective, and innovative services.
  • Assist the GP Collaborative Management Team in delivering services that meet agreed aims and objectives.
  • Manage administrative staff capacity to meet service demands.
  • Work across 24-hour service needs on a rota basis to ensure 24-hour cover.
  • Line manage designated staff in accordance with HR processes and policies.

Requirements

  • GCSE level C or above in English and Maths or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • IT qualification, European Computer Driving Licence/RSA/ICR III or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Working Arrangements

This is a fixed-term contract for a maximum of 12 months due to maternity leave. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible and varied shifts, including out-of-hours, night duties, and bank holidays.
