Cer Financial is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Control Analyst to join their team in the City of London. As a Risk and Control Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the bank's risk policies are implemented efficiently and effectively across all business lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of various risk management areas, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk.
  • Provide support in the day-to-day delivery of the Risk Management Framework, including assisting the Head of Risk in limit monitoring, daily and periodic reporting, and resolving ad-hoc issues.
  • Assist in running the liquidity risk and stress testing report, provide analysis, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided.
  • Collect departmental monthly Operational Risk KRI from the Heads of Departments, assist the Head of Risk to conduct operational risk self-assessments quarterly.
  • Ensure timely production and accurate delivery of risk regulatory reports.
  • Provide support in monitoring and reporting of operational incidents impacting the branch.
  • Provide support in maintaining spreadsheets, including basic VBA coding.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with a 2:1
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of working experience in a regulated business, particularly in areas related to analytics and control functions.
Knowledge:

Basic understanding of financial risk and banking products.
