About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Worker to join our Gloucester Multi Agency Team (GMAT) at GreenSquareAccord. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to victims of domestic abuse, working closely with social workers and family support workers to provide a seamless multi-agency service to vulnerable children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete domestic abuse risk assessments and provide support to individuals who are, or have been, experiencing domestic abuse.
  • Work closely with social workers and family support workers to provide a comprehensive support service to vulnerable children and their families.
  • Offer training and share good practice with Social Care staff based at GMAT on domestic abuse issues.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including social services, housing providers, and other agencies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications equivalent to NVQ level 3 or higher.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable people, including those experiencing domestic abuse.
  • Knowledge of housing law and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
